So, first - has Angus seriously been grabbing those brain bits as they fall on his head? Because that's pretty awesome.
Second, I'm glad to see somebody remembered Major's background (and he hasn't forgotten it either! Ratting out the kids would've meant he lost their trust fast) but somewhat dismayed that he never saw where this was all going. Also: Seriously, didn't FG predict this? It does seem the obvious conclusion of mass zombieism, that you'll have homeless teens. Would it not have been more efficient to set up dorms straight away for those kids? And who determines the proper ration size?
I want to know what happens to the kids who weren't chosen. Are they back on the streets?
I'm also curious that one of them had the bleached-out look and the others didn't. Because that means they must have some resources in order to maintain a human appearance, yes? I know POCs don't go all stark white, but Ravi is dealing with that white streak in his hair, and certainly most of the white kids were not bleached out, either.
Curious where they'll be going with the Clive/Bozzio relationship.
Also, I really want to see Dale on brains. I'm glad we're seeing Ravi affected, and there was the guy doing the whole Shakespearean actor bit, and it would be a lot of fun to see people besides Liv dealing with it.
IIRC they determined condoms don't work against the zombie virus, so Clive and Bozzio definitely should be addressed! If they're trying to make it work like the characters in Pushing Daisies or Buffy/Angel, I'd find that very interesting.
1) The CW website sucks. I know I shouldn't be complaining about a free, legal streaming service but do they have to air the same commercials over and over?
2. He's under contract. But after the allegations he won't be coming back next season - they'd already filmed most of this season when the accusations broke.
Yeah, I just don’t understand the appeal of Angus in the first place. I can see why they kept Blaine around. He started the whole thing and there will be a reckoning, but who cares about his Daddy issues?
Gilda/Rita was awesome. I mean, an asshole, but her scenes with Major were pretty hot, and she was ambiguous enough that you didn't get the sense she'd send the world to hell in a handbasket. At the very least she'd get someone else to do it for her, and be fucking polite about it.
(I'm tired of the villains but I'm so, so tired of all the lackeys, too. They just never learn.)
I really, really hate to be a downer, but... did anyone else feel like the writing for a few characters felt a little off here? Blaine in particular stood out to me in a few scenes (mostly the one with him talking down the well at his dad) as feeling not quite like his usual self.
Yeah the well scene felt a little off to me too. Though I guess after months of throwing brains down there he probably sees it less as an interaction with his father and more of a solo talking therapy session which would make his tone more understandable.
Honestly, I don't think any of them feel like their usual selves. They're living in Zombie Occupied Baghdad. That's gotta make you anxious and depressed, and that brings personality changes.
I want more information on the economics, though. The average joe zombie is starving, not enough tubes - and not just because of petty brain theft. But there's enough spare brains for fancy menus for the wealthy. Who decided on this distribution model? How are they keeping the restaurant and bar from being knocked over? What's the food situation for humans like?
Yeah, I honestly thought we didn't get enough of anyone to really feel like they were back? Ravi and Liv were more occupying the same space than interacting, Major only interacted with his kids (and be still my heart about THAT; I hope he gets to at least keep up therapy sessions with them? Not just throw them out?), and Clive and Dale only interacted in a work setting. I know they needed to set up The New World Order (barf) but I'm hoping the show doesn't lose track of its character dynamics (and that there's as little Angus as possible, given he's on the credits. DALE isn't on the damn credits! Fuck this shit).
Also like, I kinda miss Vivian. Vivian would never have instated a guillotine for zombies who scratched humans. There may be a brain shortage but that's how she became a damn zombie, ON PURPOSE. (I mean, Chase did it to Major after being asked, but Chase strikes me as 'aware of his own hypocrisy, moving on from that'.)
Yeah, she might. But I was really sad to lose her. I hated Chase at first and he grew on me a little when he fucked Liv because I have issues, but, speaking of THAT-- I hope we haven't seen the last of Justin. I'll be mildly annoyed if they finally spared a love interest of Liv's only to write him off the show and kill MY WONDERFUL DARLING NATALIE (but what is it with the show and killing a love interest per season?!)
(I hope Jordan lasts a long fucking while. This show needs more women, and it is in desperate need of WOC.)
Loved nudist!Ravi :D I hope we get to see him on brains regularly!
And Seahawks!Liv :D
And it was awesome to see Major getting to help teenagers again <3
Could have done without the emergence of Angus, I was hoping he'd stay down the well. Not keen on the mad prophet thing either, he was annoying enough already D:
Really interesting to see the new society emerging, I think they've been brave to go down this route and I like all the ways it's gonna let them explore various issues.

How the hell did Angus even not go full Romero, like? Is he a champion snack catcher? I was so pissed about the whole thing.
I actually wish the show dialed it back with the brains a little. They're taking over the characters' personalities so thoroughly sometimes it's hard to see what's real underneath. I don't want gimmick brains every week. Something more like Liv on reporter brain, or Liv on her adventurous friend's brain -- those were good brain episodes. Was honestly kinda shocked no one addressed Ravi's nudity in Liv's apartment especially, like he should be able to control that? Did Liv not care THAT much? And like, can people stop acting like he's gross looking or something because it's getting old.
Um... I'm actually glad the show's back, LOL I just suck at highlighting positives. My heart did near explode for Major, I hope he gets to help people and not just be a soldier anymore. I know there's a shortage of those, but -- part time counseling, maybe? Advocating for teens and children now that Vivian and whatshernamewhotriggeredplanb aren't around?
Could he reach his mouth with them? Or like, toss up the brain bits into his mouth? I guess if there was some give in the rope. (I just did some kinda contorsion, I'm not looking at that guy anymore than I have to.)

I guess we'll find out next week.
And shouldn't there already be, like, zombie foster homes and all?
